FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — Police in Fuquay-Varina are trying to figure out what led to a shooting Sunday afternoon.
The shooting happened around 2 p.m Sunday at the intersection of Bridge and West Academy. Witnesses said it appeared one person accidentally shot another in the arm.
The shooting victim is reportedly recovering.
