Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — The City of Durham is hoping a new mapping system will help crack down on crime.

Police introduced the new system at Monday night's Partners Against Crime meeting.

Durham's

Crime Mapper

creates a map that shows specific dates and addresses of crimes. Users can search for any type of crime and select a specific area to search.

Crime maps for the entire county are also available.
