DURHAM, N.C. — There is a new buzz about the sale of a popular company based in the Triangle.
AEA Investors of New York is close to buying Burt's Bees, based out of Durham.
The sale price for the skin care product company is estimated to be $175 million.
The
New York Post
is reporting the deal could be signed by the end of the week.
