RALEIGH, N.C. — There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but there is a free ride available.
To boost the number of passengers and free up parking, people who work for the city of Raleigh or the state can ride
Capital Area Transit
(CAT) buses for free. College students do not have to pay, either.
Passengers must show identification.
Raleigh spends around $5.5 million to keep the CAT buses in service.
