<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Police have charged an accountant who worked for the Crabtree Valley Mall management company with embezzling $450,000.

Shawn Bynum, 45, worked for Plaza Associates since 1992.

Last month, company officials sued Bynum to try and get back part of the money they say he took.

Byrum is being held on a $1 million bond.
