RALEIGH, N.C. — There was tough news Tuesday night for the families of four local teenagers killed in a car accident two years ago.

A grand jury has decided not to indict 19-year-old Christopher Petersen on involuntary manslaughter charges.

Police said Petersen was racing a car driven by 18-year-old Bryan Reaves on I-540. Reaves lost control of his car, crossing the center line and hitting a van head on.

Reaves and his three passengers were killed.
