FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — You will soon be able to take a walk right along the bank of the Cape Fear River.
The city of Fayetteville held a ceremony Tuesday to start construction of the Cape Fear River Trail.
The first phase will stretch over four miles and consist of bicycle and pedestrian greenways. It will run from Methodist College to Clark Park.
