Businessman Donates House To Woman, Children Left Homeless By Onslow County Fire

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — A mother who lost five children and her mobile home in a fire will have a place to live.

A Jacksonville businessman donated a three-bedroom house to Mary Alice Turner and her five surviving children. Two of the children are recovering from the fire at the Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill.

A number of other businesses have donated food and clothing to help Turner's family get back on its feet.
