Raleigh Country Club Gets Reprieve

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh Country Club will not be driven out of business just yet.

The club's largest creditor told a bankruptcy judge Thursday not to foreclose on the property.

On Monday, someone had agreed to pay off creditors in return for ownership of the club.

Raleigh County Club owed more than $7 million when it filed for bankruptcy protection in February.
