Murder Suspect Returned To Durham

DURHAM, N.C. — A man charged with shooting two women and two children is back in Durham to face murder charges.

Dennis Lamont Hargrove, 27, was arrested by FBI agents in an Atlanta suburb on July 29. He had been held in the DeKalb County, Ga., jail until his return to Durham Thursday night.

Hargrove is charged with one count of murder and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury.

Investigators said Hargrove and three other men stormed into a house on East Markham Street in June. Four people were shot at close range. Colette Nicole Moss, 23, died.

Hargroves's cousin, Brian Keith Hargrove, 29, was arrested in Virginia on July 9. He is charged with murder.
