Police Look For Suspect In North Raleigh Shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police say an argument between two people led to a shooting at a North Raleigh apartment complex.

Police are looking for Carlos Levette McCoy. The 32-year-old is described as a black male, 6-feet-4-inches tall with a thin build and medium complexion. He also has black hair and brown eyes.

Police say 22-year-old Derrick C. Holmes was shot around 9:30 a.m. at 4905-H Coolridge Court. Authorities say McCoy fled the scene following the shooting.

Holmes was taken to WakeMed, where he is listed in stable condition.
