<b>CHAPEL HILL, N.C.</b> — A victim of the Kinston plant explosion is going home for his first overnight visit.

Jim Edwards is scheduled to leave a UNC rehabilitation center Friday afternoon. It will be the first time Edwards has left UNC Hospitals since the West Pharmaceuticals explosion on Jan. 29.

Six people were killed and dozens hurt in the explosion.

West Pharmaceuticals made rubber and fittings for medical equipment and broke ground on a new plant earlier this month.
