Additional Parking, Services Coming To RDU International

Posted Updated

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Finding a parking space at

Raleigh-Durham International Airport

will soon be easier.

The Airport Authority said a new 6,100-space parking deck will be ready in November. The parking deck sits between terminals A and C.

When it is finished, RDU International will have 18,000 parking spaces.

The Airport Authority will also unveil Exit Express in November.

With the new system, passengers can walk up to a machine, pay their parking fee and drive away.

The airport hopes the new machine will shorten lines at the ticket window.
