RALEIGH, N.C. — Two rhythm and blues singers are singing a sad song about taxes.
K-Ci and JoJo, members of the R&B group Jodeci, have pleaded guilty to misdemeanor tax evasion in North Carolina.
They have had to pay $200,000 in back taxes and still owe $20,000. Their lawyer blames sloppy accounting for the problem.
K-Ci and JoJo were arrested in April after performing at the RBC Center.
