HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. — No criminal charges have been filed in connection with the drowning of a 10-year-old boy in a Holly Springs Creek.
Authorities say Travis Nugent slipped on a steep bank and fell into a creek behind a home on Stone Farm Circle earlier in July.
Authorities say Nugent's death appears to have been an accident.
