Roommate Of Overdose Victim Charged With Manslaughter

CARTHAGE, N.C. — The roommate of a Carthage man who died from a drug overdose now faces charges.

Authorities have charged Anthony Hinson with voluntary manslaughter. He also faces drug trafficking and possession charges.

The state medical examiner said Scott Robinson died of a methadone overdose. He was one of three Moore County men found dead in one week.

Police are waiting on autopsy reports on Matthew Peterson and Nathan Davis.
