Cingular is working with Seattle-based Melodeo to offer Melodeo's "Mobilcast" podcast service. It includes news, sports, entertainment, and other offerings.

Content selections include podcasts from National Public Radio, The New York Times, CBS, Fox and MSNBC.

The service costs $4.99 per month plus kilobyte usage.
