ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A woman was killed Tuesday morning when her sport utility vehicle overturned on Interstate 95, authorities said.
A family from New York was traveling on I-95 through Nash County when their SUV ran off the road. The driver overcorrected, and the vehicle flipped several times authorities said.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while a man and two children were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, authorities said.
The accident remains under investigation.
