CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill authorities are investigating a man's fall from a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill fraternity house early Saturday morning.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, fell 30 feet from the Zeta Psi Fraternity House located at 200 W. Cameron St. at about 1:30 a.m., fire authorities said.

His medical condition was not immediately clear, but investigators said he underwent several surgeries at UNC Hospitals.

In a statement released Sunday evening, the fraternity said it is fully cooperating with local officials and that the man was neither a member of the fraternity nor known by members of the fraternity house prior to the accident.
