Man Slashed At N.C. State Party

RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina State University fraternity party ended with a slashing early Saturday morning.

Campus police, Wake Sheriff's deputies, and Raleigh police responded to the Talley Student Center around 2 a.m. and told people to leave when a fight broke out a party sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.

Afterwards, a man approached police with a slashing injury. He was taken to WakeMed. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police have not determined whether the victim is an N.C. State student. No arrests have been made, and the incident remains under investigation.
