SJF Ventures Names Director In New York

, a venture capital firm based in Durham, has named Alan Kelley as managing director for its New York City office.

Kelley formerly worked at Milestone Venture Partners. He also was an investment portfolio manager for SunTrust Banks from 1995-2004. While at Trusco Capital Management, a subsidiary of SunTrust, Kelley developed and managed its first Internet and technology mutual fund.

SJF makes investments in companies with revenues of $1 million or more.
