Georgia-Based InComm Acquires Canadian Firm For $36M

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — InComm
, a provider of technology and services for prepaid products, has agreed to acquire Canadian-based DataWave Systems in a deal worth some $36 million.
The acquisition is the latest in a series of deals made by InComm to expand its reach to more than 145,000 retail outlets.
DataWave has more than 10,000 retail locations and 6,000 point-of-sale activation terminals in Canada and the U.S.
