The DSTA recently selected its permanent location and management. The incubator is envisioned as a hub for the development of technology and services related to defense and security utilization.
To be considered for the incubator, companies need to already have developed or to be preparing products and services. They also should be for-profit, according to the DSTA.
Companies also will be considered for grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. The DSTA's "Fusion" program is designed to help firms validate technology and/or markets for the product.
