CARY, N.C. — A local woman arrested for locking her dog in a hot car is no longer in trouble.
The district attorney dismissed the case against Rebecca Lore.
Lore was arrested in July for leaving her pet husky, Shania, inside a car at Cary Towne Center.
The dog survived and was later returned to her.
