Child Killed In Selma Wreck

SELMA, N.C. — A 4-year-old girl is dead after a wreck in Johnston County Thursday afternoon.
Selma police said the driver of an Infiniti tried to turn in front of a Ford Explorer at the intersection of South Raeford and Jones streets.
Police said Deja Chestnut was in a car seat in the Explorer, but the seat was not properly strapped in.
The driver of the Infiniti faces several charges, including driving with a revoked license.
