Police Respond To Multi-Vehicle Accident In Morrisville

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Morrisville police said two cars and a tractor-trailer were involved in a traffic accident Wednesday morning.

According to preliminary results, authorities said a 2004 Subaru Outback drifted across the center lane on Aviation Parkway near Highway 54 and struck a tractor trailer head-on. A third vehicle was also involved in the accident.

Two people in the Subaru Outback, Karen T. Gunter and her son, Ben, suffered serious injuries and were transported to Duke University Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, James Harold Allison, suffered minor injuries. A driver of the third car, Anna Maria Parrish of Garner, did not sustain serious injuries.
