Fayetteville Teen Injured In Pedestrian Accident

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 16-year-old is in serious condition after being hit by a mini-van Thursday.
Fayetteville police said Tristan Parker was hit when he ran into the road at the intersection of Ireland Drive and Martindale Drive.
Authorities said Parker has a head injury and a broken pelvis and leg.
Parker is listed in serious condition at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
No charges have been filed against the driver. Police said it appears the teen ran out in front of the vehicle.
