3D Systems Recruits 100th Employee For New S.C. Headquarters

ROCK HILL, S.C. — 3D Systems Corporation

, which is moving its headquarters to Rock Hill from California, has now recruited 100 employees for its S.C. operation.

3D Systems (Nasdaq: TDSC) develops rapid 3-D printing, prototyping and manufacturing solutions. It announced the relocation from Valencia, Calif., last year. The company will open a new facility in Rock Hill later this year. A temporary facility is already in use.

Operations at a facility in Grand Junction, Colo., are also being moved to Rock Hill.

"Our future success depends primarily on our ability to attract, train, retain and develop the right people within our organization," said Abe Reichental, 3D Systems' president and chief executive officer. "We believe that 3D Systems offers a very unique employment value proposition. We are creating an open, friendly and inviting work environment within our state-of-the-art headquarters facility that is being constructed at the Waterford Industrial Park."
