HENDERSON, N.C. — Police are investigating the weekend slaying of a man at a local car wash.
Officers and paramedics responded to a report of a shooting at the Auto Brite Car Wash at 1208 E. Andrews Avenue shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday, police said. Officers found Phillip Jordan, 35, of 1261 Americal Road in Henderson, on the ground suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said.
Jordan was transported to Maria Parham Medical Center, where he later died.
Police have the names of some suspects, but no charges have been filed.
