Two Found Dead Inside Cumberland Car-Wash Store

Posted August 15, 2006 6:09 a.m. EDT

— Cumberland County sheriff's detectives are investigating the deaths of two people found inside a car-wash supply store Tuesday morning.

Investigators said employees of Car Wash Express at 5256 Front St. discovered the bodies when they arrived to work at about 8 a.m. At least one of the victims was an employee at the store, authorities said.

There was no evidence of a break-in, but investigators said they did find damage to a front glass door indicating a breakout.

Authorities have not released the names of the victims pending notification of next-of-kin. The causes of death have yet to be determined, but detectives said they suspect foul play. Investigators provided little information about the case.

Car Wash Express sells car-wash items, such as soap, waxes and brushes for self-service car washes.
