Sprint Picks Oasys Mobile, Other Firm To Help Screen Content Developers

RALEIGH, N.C. — Sprint has selected
of Raleigh and San Francisco-based Moderati to manage content aggregation efforts for ring tones and wallpapers.
Oasys and Moderati will act as "gatekeepers" in working with content providers seeking to develop content for Sprint. Sprint will maintain direct relationships with major media companies and its strategic content partners.
"Sprint continues to lead the mobile-content industry through this unique partnership with Oasys Mobile and Moderati. It streamlines the process to distribute our ringers and wallpapers in the shortest time to market," said Alana Muller, director of entertainment product marketing for Sprint. "This process allows our customers to receive the highest quality, most varied and most current selection of ringers and wallpapers possible."
Oasys and Moderati will review proposed content, make recommendations to Sprint, be responsible for licensing the content, formatting content and presenting it to Sprint for approval before distribution to customers.
