WRAL Military, Homeland Security Consultant Dies In Accident

— A former Green Beret captain who served as a military expert for WRAL has died.

Capt. Craig Marks was killed Wednesday night on his Lillington farm in an accident involving a tractor.

Marks spent more than 30 years in the armed forces. He appeared on WRAL as a military expert, particularly when the U.S. initially launched the war in Iraq.

More recently, Marks was a homeland security and disaster preparedness consultant.
