AbD Serotec sells antibodies and antibody services to research and diagnostic firms. The new office covers more than 5,000 square feet. AbD Serotec is a new division of MorphoSys and has sales offices in the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Norway. Production facilities are located in the U.K. and Germany.
The company offers more than 8,000 antibodies and reagents for use in research across immunology, neurology, cell biology and histology.
"The U.S. is the world's largest market for antibodies as research tools which we offer through our business unit AbD Serotec," said Simon E. Moroney, chief executive officer of MorphoSys AG, in a statement. "The Research Triangle Region offers an excellent infrastructure and a significant concentration of life science companies plus first-class research institutes and universities."
