FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Former broadcaster and convicted child sex offender Ethan Hess will stay in jail.

Opinion From State Court of Appeals

The state Court of Appeals denied Hess's appeal for release Tuesday.

In April, a Fayetteville jury found him guilty on sexual abuse charges in one hour. Prosecutors claimed he had sex with three sisters repeatedly over two years.

Hess is serving a minimum 105-year sentence.
