Durham Rope-Skipping Team Wins World Championship

DURHAM, N.C. — Members of a Durham-area team are now world champions after traveling to Toronto two weeks ago for the 2006 Rope Skipping World Championships.

The Bouncing Bulldogs collected a total of 115 medals with more than half of them being gold.

The Bulldogs are made up of about 100 people from the Triangle ranging in age from 5 to 20 years old.
