WILSON, N.C. — Wilson County investigators said a car found submerged in Wilson Creek Tuesday night was stolen.
Two fishermen noticed a car antenna sticking out of the water, then noticed the car.They quickly alerted authorities, thinking someone could be trapped inside.
The car was empty. Authorities said the vehicle was reported stolen June 3.
