RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police arrested 29 people in multiple prostitution stings.
Investigators in Raleigh raided a house on Tryon Road Thursday evening and arrested a man and two women. Police believe the suspects ran a brothel out of the home. Charges are pending the results of the investigation.
Authorities had earlier arrested 26 other suspects on over 40 charges, the majority of which were related to prostitution. They targeted different locations at four different times of day.
According to police, about half of those arrested in the earlier raids were charged with prostitution. The others were charged with soliciting prostitutes.
