Suspect In Raleigh Home Invasion Arrested

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a violent home invasion.
Maurice Pierce, 26, was taken into custody Wednesday night and charged with attempted murder and robbery.
Investigators said Pierce and two other suspects -- Tavoris Darnell Latimer, 30, and Lorenzo Julius Robinson III, 19 -- broke into an apartment on Six Forks Road on Monday night, robbed a man and cut his throat.
The victim, David Joseph Paul, 23, was able to call for help. He was taken to WakeMed.
