Atlanta CEO Council's Board of Advisers Includes Intersouth Partner

ATLANTA, GA. — John Glushik, a partner with Intersouth Partners, is one of the new members named to the board of advisors for the

Atlanta CEO Council

The council is an organization for C-level executives.

In addition to Glushik, other new board members are: Peter Evans, vice president of marketing at Internet Security Systems; Tom Hawkins, director of Arcapita Ventures; Joan Herbig, chief executive officer of Cambia Security; Scott Hrastar, general manager of Nokia; Darryl Lemecha, chief information officer of Choicepoint; Steve Nussrallah, partner with Noro-Moseley Partners; Karen Painter, senior vice president of Enterprise Applications of Turner Broadcasting Systems; and Brian Shield, CIO of The Weather Channel.

"This year our Board of Advisors is a who's who of leading executives and the companies they represent," said Ashish Mistry, president of the Atlanta CEO Council. "Having a strong advisory board gives the Council a pool great leadership talent from where to tap new ideas and receive feedback. It also serves as a launch pad for new initiatives."

Returning board members are: Claire Arnold, CEO of Leapfrog Services; Peter Baron, principle at Carabiner Communications; Eric Hartz, president and CEO of RentBureau; and Ricky Steele, chief development officer of Thompson Technology Group.

The Council will host its fifth annual venture capital event on Oct. 17-18 at the Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta.
