LVL7 Adds Partner For Wireless Network Efforts

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — LVL7 Systems
, a developer of networking software, is teaming up with AirTight Networks to develop an integrated solution for wireless local area networks.
AirTight, which is based in Mountain View, CA., provides wireless intrusion solution prevention.
Together the companies plan to offer WLAN software for original equipment manufacturers of networking and telecommunications gear. These manufacturers can then provide enterprise customers with a secure and scalable wireless network, according to LVL7 and AirTight.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
