FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The North Carolina National Guard is preparing to secure America's borders.
On Saturday, 200 soldiers from the 252nd Combine Arms Battalion trained at Fort Bragg. As part of the annual training, they'll deploy to Arizona on July 22 to Aug 5.
Their mission is part of "Operation Jump Start." Members of the N.C. National Guard will support Customs and border protection along the Mexican border. The soldiers will deploy with individual weapons, and will be conducting training on the use of force.
