DURHAM, N.C. — Duke University could be closer to naming a permanent head coach for the men's lacrosse team.
WRAL has confirmed that both Hofstra University's John Danowski and Notre Dame head coach Kevin Corrigan have interviewed at Duke for the position.
Danowski has more than 20 years experience.
His son, Matt, is a rising senior on Duke's lacrosse team.
Former head coach Mike Pressler stepped down after rape allegations involving several players surfaced in March.
