FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are investigating an overnight wreck that killed a Fort Bragg soldier.
Police said 22 year-old James Christopher Hosbrough was driving a 2001 Acura Integra northbound on McPherson Drive near Colton Drive around 11 p.m. when he lost control, ran off the right side of the road, and struck a utility pole, road signs, and a tree.
Police said Hosborough died at the scene of the wreck. Authorities said speed was a factor.
Hosbrough was a member of the 82nd Airborne.
