WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem family ordered a mini-motorcycle for their 14-year-old son. It arrived with a little something extra -- four little kittens.
The 5-day, 2,500-mile trip from California left them weak and lethargic, and a vet recommended the kittens be euthanized. But a neighbor stepped in and nursed the kittens back to health.
They all survived, and are now 8 weeks old, healthy and up for adoption.
