SMITHFIELD, N.C. — Authorities now know the cause of death of an Alzheimer's patient who wandered away from her home last month.
Autopsy results show 80-year-old Helena Sanders died from exposure.
Two men cutting grass found her body in a field.
She disappeared from her home two weeks before.
