— Raleigh police arrested a man they said was connected to 16 vehicle break-ins.

Darrick Jerome Johnson was charged Wednesday with 16 counts of breaking-and-entering. Authorities said he broke into mostly commercial vehicles in east Raleigh looking for company gas cards.

Johnson, who is being held on a $100,000 bond, was expected to make his first court appearance on Thursday.
