ATLANTA, GA. — BellSouth is expanding its wireless broadband service into five additional markets.
The service will soon be available in parts of Charleston S.C., Albany GA., Melbourne FL., Chattanooga TN., and Greenville MS.
Customers do not need a regular phone line to subscribe to the service, which delivers data at up to 1.5 megabits per second. BellSouth utilizes licensed spectrum.
Other markets already served by wireless broadband are New Orleans, Palatka FL., Gulfport MS. and DeLand FL.
