<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — An arrest has been made in the shooting death of a woman at a drug store parking lot in Fayetteville.

Police arrested Eric Vanderwerf on Saturday after he turned himself in. He was wanted in connection with the June 15 death of Marilyn White. Vanderwerf is also accused of shooting Jeffrey Swain Jr.

Vanderwerf has been charged with first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with the intent to kill. He is currently in the Cumberland County Jail.
