etrials To Partner With California Firm on Clinical Trial Data

Posted Updated

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — etrials Worldwide

, a developer of "e-clinical" solutions for clinical trial information, is partnering with a California firm to expand data access.

etrials and Relsys Internationale said Monday they would work together to "allow" data flow between etrials' eClinical Suite and Relsys' Argus Safety Web products.

"Being able to identify and report critical patient safety data is more important than ever," said John Cline, chief executive officer of etrials. "etrials and Relsys together will set new standards to meet the industry's need for fully automatic integrated electronic data systems."

By incorporating data, the companies said clients would have access to clinical and post-marketing surveillance information for data reconciliation purposes.

"etrials truly understands the value of an integrated platform," said Dave Bajaj, president and chief executive officer of Relsys. "By integrating our Argus Safety Web with etrials eClinical system, we can offer a robust and comprehensive solution that will enable sponsors to more rapidly and automatically report adverse events and adjust their clinical trials as necessary in near real time."
