Cingular Expands Network Coverage Along Carolinas' Coast

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Cingular Wireless
is expanding and strengthening its coverage along the Carolinas coast with 14 new cell sites, the company said Monday.
So far this year, 150 additional cell sites have been added in the Carolinas.
Additional coverage has been provided around Edisto Island, Wilmington, Shallotte and Supply in North Carolina as well as Hollywood, Conway, Myrtle Beach and Georgetown in South Carolina.
Cingular said it would spend more than $385 million to expand and increase the capacity of its Carolinas network this year.
